I finally got the phpBB forum up and running! Please register here:
www.davidcfreer.com
I don't have a way to email passwords (Bellsouth disables port 25), so there will be an error message...but do not despair. Simply go to Login and use the user name and password you just created. Extra credit if you leave a message in one of the forums I created.
When you successfully sign up for the forum, you will get the following message:
Ran into problems sending Mail. Response: 502 Command is locally disabled
DEBUG MODE
Line : 126
File : smtp.php
THAT MEANS IT WORKS! Just click on login and leave a reply or new topic.
(SMTP refers to sending emails, which like I mentioned, Bellsouth blocks.)

Two blog posts:
Do you agree with the author about "cutting and pasting" being an important skill?
Paul Graham got a lot of attention for saying this. Do you agree with his assertion?

If you were interested, Goowy is making a lot of people notice. Check it out.
Also don't make these grammatical errors.
