350 word answer (a little less than a page typed).
How do you think computers will most change life in the next decade?
As there is no knowable answer, I want creative and thoughtful answers. There can be no copying and pasting on an assignment such as this.
You can write out your answer by hand or type it up, but the paper must be typed out and printed in class.

I'm very pleased to be your teacher this year for business technology/keyboarding.
First of all, I'm excited because so much is happening right now in business. There is a great deal to learn, discuss, and analyze.
Because so much of what we will do in this class is based on writing, first we are going to learn how to type correctly. Typing correctly means typing with accuracy and speed using the home keys of ASDF JKL; (soon you'll be a master).
With that first lesson (the home keys) out of the way, you will create your class blogs. Go to http://www.blogger.com . Click on "Get your blog now!" The instructions are easy to follow and we will create the blog in class so it will be easy to ask questions.
Write down your username and password and keep it hidden.
Your first post is to write a page analyzing how computers have changed business over the past decade and how you expect them to change business over the next ten years. If you wish you can extend the time period to as far as you like.
Creating the blog is your first grade (what an easy A!) and the post is your second grade.
Today is the last day you will be allowed to type in any manner you wish. Starting tomorrow your hands must be on the home keys. Even if you are a great typist, you'll get better. If you have no clue how to type, you'll find it will change your whole life. It's a great skill.
We will also learn how to write business letters, use correct grammar, make proposals, and create ads. We will also cover spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software.
This course will be one of the most practical and interesting you'll take.
